#PER CHI AMA: Speed/Thrash, Destruction |
The one thing I like about this band (among many other things) is the fact that they have their own unique sound to them. And vibe. This album isn't overly brutal, it has a cool feeling to it. The guitars have some unique riffs and they're done with precision. I think that the vocals here fit the guitars. The riffs are cool and fresh a nice way of organizing songs to make them interesting. Their vocalist actually "sings" too. I think that the whole album just smokes. I cannot fathom why anyone would think ill of this release. It's quite diverse and mature. The riffs hit home with me, unique stuff like their older material but a little catchier (to me).
This is under 40 minutes and the last track is a ballad. Pretty well done outro to the album the vibe was glorious. I don't hear too many thrash metal bands that actually have singers that "sing." That's why I like this so much because the aggression is there but the voice sets the groove to the songs. The backup vocals are good, too. I think this band is highly underrated and not well known. They sure are dynamic! I liked this the first time I heard it. It's one of those that you either like it or you think it may be too mild. I thought it was terrific! There's no songs on here that suck they're all good and the energy is all there.
The production quality is phenomenal for a not well known band. Their is kind of a reverb vibe to the vocals and music, which sets the tone for the album. The riffs go well with the vocals they go side by side them. I think that this is a highly underrated album and it's sad in a way because this band has so much to offer the metal community. I think that as long as they keep making music the way they do, they'll get noticed. I'm trying to spread the word with this release. I'm sorry but a poor rating is unacceptable. I think that they're way high up on the ratings. That's just my take on the album. It's filled with thrash metal vigor!
I would get this on CD if I were you it's worth it. I'm glad I did because I liked all the songs. They're German version of thrash metal has them among the likes of Destruction, Kreator, et al. Of course they're taking their influences and making their own sound and voice. They really need to spread the word and buying the CD is a step in the right direction. Same with their older albums, they're good as well. This one is less aggressive and more focus on the vocals and vibe. If you're not able to get the CD, at least visit their Bandcamp site. You need to hear this album despite what other critics are saying! Own it! (Death8699)
